Fountains Abbey

We took the granddaughters to Fountains Abbey (an NT property, near Ripon)..to meet up with their Mum & Dad and to do the Easte Activity Trail.

It certainly kept them occupied and we walked another 4 miles. It was surprisingly quiet, so there was plenty of room to run about.

It felt a lot warmer than at the coast yesterday, as most of the place is fairly sheltered.

At the end of the day we packed them and all their stuff into Mum’s car and we went our separate ways home…well not that much separate as they passed us just as we were turning off the A1 for home.

There maybe some chilled beers lined up in the fridge for me tonight…it’s been a hectic few days with the little ones about!
