Cherry Fields

This morning I had a scary five minutes when my left arm went weird. I carried my morning coffee through from the back room and as I sat down I realised I was in danger of dropping my mug. I could grip OK but my arm had lost all strength and felt numb. Fortunately it was very short lived, and within a few minutes normality resumed. But it was quite alarming whilst it lasted.

In good news today, I managed to find at least some of the missing bank info yesterday, and today accessed the remaining account, printed what I needed to, and dealt with more paperwork.

I discovered that Sky have continued taking payments from the account, despite my having contacted them to cancel it after my Dad passed away. Of course mail would have gone to the bungalow, and until today I could not see the bank statements. There are a few other things going out which I need to investigate too.

It seems like every task I complete brings more!

Late morning we headed out to a new place to us - Cherry Fields Community woodland in the nearby village of Cherry Willingham. It's council owned and run by volunteers. There's some established woodland, a large area of new trees, a bike track, picnic areas, etc.

This deer sculpture was created in 2022 by Julie Chambers, and looks great amongst the saplings.

This afternoon we have watched Hull KR beat Hull FC in the Challenge Cup. It's a week off for Wigan as sadly they went out of the cup in the last round.
