Donna Pollach Exhibit at Oregon Historical Society

Sue’s partner beginning in 1977 was film photographer Donna Pollach. When Donna died in 2002, she left her archives to Sue, who had the wisdom to donate all of it—the negatives, the contact sheets, the prints, and all the background material—to the Oregon Historical Society. Today an exhibit opened at OHS, highlighting Pollach’s documentation of the lesbian community in Portland from the 70s through the 90s. Members of Sue’s family came to town to celebrate and see the exhibit.
