Down on the train to London for the weekend.
Staying just off Brick Lane - some Tibetan street food and a beer in the sun on arrival in our neck of the woods mid-afternoon and then over to Oxford Circus for The Photographers Gallery. Two terrific exhibitions - Peter Mitchell and the Deutsche Borse prize.
A change in mood followed at The National Gallery in Trafalgar Square, namely Siena: The Rise In Painting 1300-1350. Plenty of religious magnificence on show for sure.
Back East for a Brick Lane curry and that did us for London Day One. Stuff planned for tomorrow but we're pacing ourselves a bit, wouldn't do to burn out now would it.
