Cheryl and me!

We had a great day....Bronwyn and i headed into Victoria to have someone look at my camera!  i had dropped it a few days ago and the auto focus wasn't working....i was pretty upset for sure....anyway, this lovely guy in the camera store managed to fix the problem, just by resetting the camera!!!  The idea of having to replace my camera was rather horrible!   Then onto a park to have a walk with Remi (dog), then lunch at the cafe in Metchosin.  

Cheryl lives in Metchosin and she was my art coach last year, it was wonderful to meet her in person.   Their house was absolutely stunning and her studio was amazing.  I love my studio back home, but i definitely had some studio envy going on :)   I bought one of her little paintings, and she so kindly tucked in another smaller one as a gift.  Her and her husband were so gracious and hospitable.....he's a musician so we were also gifted one of his cds!!!  Very fun day.

Back home to our airbnb, Morgan and Bronwyn had a hot tub while i tried to deal with the 'smart tv' set up...somewhat frustrating but i  managed....boy nothing like new and challenging technology to remind you of how much you hate changes ..... hahahahaha.
