Phalange Based Impact-O-Meter

Actually it could be titled "Did It Again".  Pretty sure about 10 years ago the middle toe on my left foot did something very similar and ended up broken and spectacularly coloured.  The pain, you'll be delighted to hear, is exactly as bad as you think it is.

Lesson to be learned - never walk into anything in your bare feet and expect the immovable object to get out of the way.  It won't move and you get to enjoy the shooting fireworks of pain in your head.  Absolutely delightful.

Friday and both colleagues buggered off sharpish at midday.  My role was therefore to hang around until 4 in case anyone rang.  No-one did.  Feierabend.
