Two anniversaries today - it's four years to the day since our beloved friend Dave Evans died. He posted his last blip just two months earlier. His cousin sent us a lovely wee video of her visit to Warbeth cemetery yesterday evening - she left some flowers at his gravestone of course, but says that the mice always eat anything she leaves!

D off early to Granton harbour and a day on the island. I went to the allotment and did some chores - it's where I was when I got the news of O's death in Brussels. 

The other anniversary is of course that of us getting married at Leith Registry office. The only photo we have is the one I've blipped, high up on the wall and difficult to capture - very faded anyway (whacked up the saturation somewhat). There we all are, grinning in the sunshine - Katy, DH, me, Rachel, and Steve (apart from the top of his head) Well - the registrar was the only person available to take a photo of us all, so we were very grateful in the circs! This was definitely pre-Blipfoto - it was 25 years ago!

When D gets back this evening we shall dine on sindhi mutton (an Evans favourite) and drink a glass of champagne, to him and us!
