Oystercatcher
We're about as far from the coast as you can be but the oystercatchers have adapted to urban life. This one was busy catching worms rather than breaking open cockles as I walked to Lidl at an early hour. You can still see the dew drops in the grass. It's going to be another beautiful day.
I'm about to set off for Glasgow to help out. Last day of term today and by the time the Easter holiday has happened my grandson should, fingers crossed, be out of his plaster cast. He's managing a couple of hours in the classroom now which is great for keeping in touch.
Back later then preparing for an early start tomorrow morning.
