Ladybird

I think that this might be a harlequin ladybird. Not good news if it is because the harlequin is an invasive non-native species which predates on other ladybirds. It's eye-catching though. I spotted it on the unfurling leaves of a small acer in the garden. 

Another lovely day of bright sunshine. Quite breezy which is good for the washing. 

This morning my lovely neighbour suggested that we wander into town where she treated me to coffee and a scone. It was just what I needed and I was very grateful for her good idea. Lengthen and strengthen yoga is on holiday so it worked perfectly. 

Home to some admin and some packing for a weekend away. Looking forward to that but there a bit to do first.
