Crown Imperial

I planted about half a dozen of these Fritillaria Imperiallis a couple of years ago.

Last year they flowered for the first time but I was worried that they died back very quickly.

No need to worry. They are back bigger and taller than before providing a high level splash of colour above the emerging tulips.

I needed some colour today given “Liberation Day!” Talk about Make America Gormless Again!
