The sun dazzled this
morning on the wetlands so
I squinted my eyes

I was up too early so I had to wait for the light to come up behind my mountains. I stepped out on the deck for my first shot of the day. I felt I couldn't wait for the first rays to hit my house. I had to get out to the wetlands. 

I managed to miss the train tying up the crossing so I arrived for a view of the wetlands in sunshine. Winter still has a hold. The only green is the willows and some areas of grass. No calving here this spring. The ranch has not continued its lease on the pasture land. 

I drove to the end of the road to check on the osprey nest. Nothing visible yer. I peeked into the waterways near Tranquille Farm. I was surprised to find a pair of swans keeping company with ducks. 

I have an appointment for a service and a tire change for my car this morning. The office may take some of my time this afternoon.
