Three cornered leeks
...in Bicclescombe Park, where Tim and I had a lovely little walk after work. Everything was looking very springlike - the magnolias in bloom, chunky tadpoles swimming in the leat, and swathes of flowers like these under the blossom trees. Lovely!
And a nice antidote to work - which was full-on today. I've got tons to do, and am also trying to herd cats in terms of agreeing the feedback we want to give our senior management team from our staff wellbeing group meeting.
We had a too-big-and-not-very-healthy tree taken down in our garden today, ahead of the fence being replaced between us and next door. The fella who did it worked so hard - it was a big job, but he ploughed through it (and without damaging our summer house or anything else, phew). The space - and views - it's opened up is quite amazing. We'll add some extra planting, and possibly re-position my hanging chair there too.
