Day out in Birmingham

An old friend from university - Jon - and I meet up every few months for a catch-up. Birmingham is within easy reach by train for us both and we've got used to using Ozzy the giant bull as a meeting point in the station.
J has recently had the second of two cataract operations and I'm still getting back to fitness after the Feb/March pneumonia episode. So we opted for a blissfully easygoing day at the City museum and art gallery.
It's a fabulous building, recently refurbished. We'll be back, having barely scratched the surface of all it has to offer.
