Swingtime

Had a lovely walk round Drighlington Moor this morning.
Beautiful sunshine but still that cold breeze.
I thought there might be some blossom in the community orchard but no. We were too early. However the daffodils looked nice planted at the base of each tree. ( see extra)

There was some blossom but not the fruiting kind.
Liked the old fashioned swing that had been fastened to a tree.

MrC then asked if I would like to go to the Beulah Bistro for lunch.
Of course the answer was “ Yes”. So we enjoyed red pepper soup, a sandwich and coffee before coming home.

This afternoon I have spent a couple of hours weeding the block paving. A job I hate but now looks much better.
Then a cuppa and sat on the swing seat reading. Still that cold breeze.
