Seaside island

Yet another beautiful day!  My sister drove me round to my friend's house in Molesey - we've been pals since boyhood. We spent an hour or so in the garden - he's recently had a serious op on his back so has to be very careful. I helped him split up a few potted plants and find spaces for them in the garden. We then set off down the A3 to Hayling Island to visit his sister. 

We had lunch at the Salt Snack cafe, had a drive around the island where I persuaded my friend to walk to the end of what I thought was a gravel spit, but which is actually made artificially of seashells - my Blip today - to create a tiny bay for children to play in, then returned to his sister's house for a good chat and cups of tea!

Then it was time to return to Molesey for dinner with my friend and his wife and back home for a good sleep!
