Two Swans
A busy Friday. I started my day with a ‘pre-work’ walk. It was a lovely morning, though chilly. I walked down to the river and back, a slightly longer route than on a normal work from home day.
I did have some work to do, but mainly I had to cover a meeting. The meeting was fine, though I now have to write up a note of the meeting, one of my least favourite tasks. Once I gad logged off, I had a few chores to do, then I headed out for a run. It was sunny, bright, but the wind had really hot up since my morning walk. I battled on, only to see dark sky in front of me, that brought heavy rain and hail, not an ideal combination in the strong wind. I got soaked, and was very cold. I was going to attempt my usual Friday route, but cut it short, so I could get home to dry off. Bd warm up. By the time I got home the sun was out again, and the sky was blue.
Later I hung out more washing, and it dried. I also had to go down town for a few things, then once home I had to do some ironing, then got myself ready to go out to meet up with TT and a group of friends at the local Indian restaurant. We had a lovely evening, catching up with lots of news, and holiday snaps from Borneo.
We weren’t too late home, which was good, as I had a bag to pack before going to bed.
The two swans were hanging around on the river this morning, while the solitary goose was swimming by the bridge.
