Our daughter kindly collected us from the station at Cheltenham this afternoon from our train from Gatwick. The train journey, with one easy change at Reading was very smooth and on time. The blackthorn flowers lining so much of the train route home were a welcome reminder of the splendour of U.K. spring time. The Madeiran sunshine continues here and our garden has sprung into life in our absence!
