Cycle Ride

After taking granddaughter Amelia to school for 9am, we continued to Emersons Green on the outskirts of Bristol (England UK) to do a cycle ride with our good friends Steve & Julia.

We followed the cycle trail into central Bristol where passing through Castle Green the Cherry Blossom tree looked magnificent and I stopped to take a photo' of it. We continued to the harbour where the Swing Bridge was operated to let a large red ship pass. It was then a pull uphill to the Clifton Suspension bridge where we enjoyed coffee at The Observatory (extra shows Mrs BB and our friend Julia) sat on the roof terrace.

Continuing downhill to Leigh Woods cycle trail towards and then The Avon Gorge under the Clifton Suspension Bridge before retracing our path back to the car - a total of 26.5 miles. A gorgeous day with a chill out of the sun
