Our journey continues…

As we are loyal Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) passengers, we have a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of the parts of the ship you usually don’t get to see such as the Galley, behind the scenes at the theatre as well as the laundrette, which we always find fascinating. 

It’s amazing how hard the employees, particularly in the laundrette work, doing ten hour shifts at a time. The question was asked about overworking people, however, apparently this is not the case as all cruise ship lines, as well as other ships are covered by specific maritime regulations. This ensures that there are sufficient breaks. Still, it seems to me that they work tremendously hard! 

After our tour, we had breakfast and will spend the rest of the day getting steps in as well as other activities (art auction at 12.30pm).
