Tulips fully open

The bulbs planted on the North facing balcony have come out earlier than expected; this was the first day when the tulips opened out all the way. 

Swim first thing. A mid afternoon walk to the Botanics, where the skunk cabbage is coming out in the big pond. We walked all around the perimeter to the extent that the paths are open; the path by the big pine that was damaged has re-opened. Lots of daffodils and rhododendrons in flower. 

Very mild; 16C high and not much wind. Jackets off for most of the walk for the first time for a while.
