Tulip the Silkie

Today I was invited to see the 4 new chickens that the 2 little girls a few houses away have recently acquired- the ones that enjoy climbing on my rock. The oldest one was at nursery and the little one having a nap so I enjoyed a coffee and chat with their mum who is also a vet in our practice. 
I have seen adorable photos of the older girl holding Tulip, one of the 2 Silkies.
