Happy Anniversary Rosie

Exactly 4 years ago to the day this lovely white rabbit and I met for the first time at the local nature reserve where she had just hopped from a field onto the path I was walking on. She very easily let me approach her and pick her up. It only took a few seconds to decide that I would take her home with me until her owner could be found. Fortunately I had my bicycle with me and I put her inside one of the bags attached to the back of it to transport her. No one came forward to claim her after I put up 'Found' leaflets with a picture of her at every entrance to the reserve, which led me to believe that this cute bunny had been dumped and left there to fend for herself.

While I was waiting for someone to eventually come forward I became so attached to her that I decided to keep her when no one did and I named her Rosie. There have been a few worrying times since then but not for one single moment have I regretted bringing Rosie home with me that day. I never had a rabbit before but I couldn't have wished for a lovelier one than Rosie.

I noticed a few days ago that my 365th entry was coming up so I started to think what I could possibly blip but absolutely nothing came to mind. When I got up today I still hadn't had any inspiration. Fortunately a very good friend suggested that I could blip a photo of Rosie and I cannot thank him enough for that brilliant idea, especially as it's also our anniversary today.

To be honest, when I started my journal I never thought that I would still be here today. Its all the supportive comments, stars and hearts that have so generously been given to my blips that have kept me going all this time and I thank you all so much for them.
