Lancaster
A couple of weeks ago - a little more than that, maybe - I had a routine visit to the GP. Nothing serious came of it but she suggested that I get a chest x-ray because of this dry cough I have (which, actually, seems to have been resolved by taking Piriton).
Anyway, rather than an actual appointment, I was given a little card and told to present myself at the x-ray department at Lancaster Royal Infirmary at my convenience.
Which turned out to be today. I drove up, this morning, parked down near the Dukes, and walked up to the hospital. I was ready for a long wait but having arrived just after nine, I was all done before half-past.
I took this photo on my way back, taking a scenic route. This path leads down to the canal. It was a little further but much more pleasant.
And in the evening, the Minx and I took ourselves out to the Golden Kitchen for dinner as she is away at a festival from tomorrow.
