Why?

Why on earth has someone dumped a pile of rubbish, and what looks like a brand new washing machine, by one of the main roads into Holmfirth?

Drumming this morning, a fun but intense session. I had planned to go for coffee afterwards with some of the drummers at Unity Yard, and to have a bite to eat there too, as MrM was planning to have lunch out. Scrapped that plan when a text arrived informing me that my parcel was due to be delivered within a two hour period over lunchtime. Aargh, I thought it was due for delivery tomorrow. Dashed home after drumming to make sure I was there to receive it - a new 'sunrise' alarm clock to replace the ancient one that died a couple of weeks ago.
