Mothers Day at Tomahawk Steakhouse

I was invited out for Mothers Day lunch by Neil and Rachael.  They chose Tomahawk Steakhouse in the Metrocentre.  We met there at 1pm.  It wasn't very busy which was good.

Its " claim to fame " is that you can cook your own steak at your table on a hot stone but none of us decided to do that and chose the Sunday lunch option.  It seemed like most customers were also eating Sunday lunch but I did see one lady with the hot stone.  Neil and Rachael had beef and I had chicken.  The food was plentiful and delicious.  There's not much veg on my plate in my blip shot but I did add some more after I had taken the photo.   Rachael and I both had a pud and we chose biscoff cheesecake with salted caramel ice cream.   It was yummy.  It was lovely to see them both as its been a while. 

After the meal I did a quick shop in Superdrug before getting the bus home.  Fell asleep in the armchair as soon as I sat down.  Think my tiring day yesterday coupled with an hours less sleep caught up with me today.  Still feeling rather weary but hopefully tomorrow I will have some energy back.

Ive added an Extra of the Mothers day flowers I got from Becky.  They were delivered yesterday. There was also a bar of chocolate. which was eaten as soon as I saw it.

Weather today was bright but there was still a chill wind.
