Old Harry at Low Tide

Do, please, look at the extras, if you have time - I had trouble deciding which to blip!

Those of you who have followed my journal for some time may remember that I have walked out to Old HarryRocks at low tide a few times. That's probably a few times more than most people :) It's only possible a couple of times a year and then only with a great deal of caution and awareness of the small window of time when it is possible. I would say it took us a good hour to walk out there. The size and splendour of the stacks never cease to amaze me. Check out the tiny figures on top of the adjacent cliffs in a couple of my extras. It seemed particularly arduous today, despite the glorious weather. The seaweed on the rocks we had to clamber over was relentless and so very slippery! I loved the whole experience - and the beer in the pub garden when we returned - but I was pooped by the time I got home, so I'm blipping a day late.

An unusual view, also taken at Old Harry Rocks in my b&w journal

Thanks for all the great comments, stars and hearts for yesterday's 'Sailing into the Sunset'!
