Sunday: Mother’s Day

Clocks went forward an hour last night, British summertime begins.

Woke up early and got up, our builder friend returned with a digger to open the footings for the new wall. MrD and I cleared brambles, ivy and overhanging branches in preparation for wall building and adding more height to our existing wall …

We chatted with our daughter, with our T and his family and received a message from The Sailor who has returned from almost a fortnight at a business event in Singapore.

We watched “Confess, Fletch”  - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confess,_Fletch - which was unusual, whacky and strangely enjoyable :-)
