Madeira Botanical Gardens

We took the bus to reach these gardens. A very different style to the ones at Monte but equally fascinating. We spent most of the day here. Some specimens were familiar. Some unique to this island. Funchal was much quieter today as there were no giant cruise ships in the port. Not sure if this is normal Sunday practice or just a quiet day on these ships busy schedules? We certainly were not complaining!
