Backlit primrose

We had a lovely lunch with friends today and, as the sun was setting, I realised I hadn't taken a shot today.  This is one of the zillion primroses on my "lawn".  The last rays of the sun show that its stem is hairy (not quite as hairy as Aliscotia's Pasque flowers).

Mr Pheasant (extra) couldn't resist his curiosity.
