I bought these little sun catcher kits for 50p in the sale at hobby craft years ago, thinking it might kill a boring moment and today was the day! To be fair, Ben really did only spend a Moment.. his was a Loch Ness Monster but he enjoyed it, in his Moment.
Other stuff.. Mr KCNQ2Haiku is home, all is well.
I had a few diabetes issues overnight, insulin pump change and subsequent issue connecting the pod to the dexcom so I was wakeful but not worried. In the end there was a sensor error at 6:20 (possibly really 5:20??!) that woke him up and I let him wake up, since it was stupid clock change day and I knew I wanted to be sure he was tired for bedtime later :-/ Remind me again why clock changes in the modern age are remotely sensible or necessary :-( ??
We had a couple of walks, Ben was moved along by the promise of toast, or cake or cereal bar or (at times) a single cashew nut. We played a CBeebies computer game and did the fleeting, sun catcher painting and now I have no idea what time it ‘really’ is but I’m tired and ready for bed (but not for another week to start!)
