Luterana

Lutheran.

It’s been several months since I’ve been able to have a splendid ‘wandering around Maputo’ weekend. So this one is warmly welcomed and I strolled about with no particular agenda. I was walking down Avenida Kim Il-sung (the name of which rarely fails to amuse) and my eye was caught by a building I haven’t paid much attention to before, even through it’s prominent on the street. The Igreja Evangélica Luterana (Evangelical Lutheran Church) feels like it has an austere style. I don’t think Lutherans are known for their wild adornments.

The weather turned overcast and I had a wonderful sunset swim under grey, looming skies.
