Back in the Smoke...

Back home after a really lovely break in Norfolk. It's more than 25 years since I worked in the City of London, and the bus journey from Liverpool Street to Waterloo today really brought home just how much the place has changed in that time, and not necessarily for the better - for one thing there now appears to be no direct bus service connecting these two major stations. On a positive note this meant that I changed from a 26 to a 76 opposite the Royal Courts of Justice in the Strand. The RCJ certainly looks a lot cleaner than it did back in the day
