Snapshots of my world

By yeeeeed

Height Road.

I was out on two wheels not long after sunrise this morning knowing I had a busy day ahead...

The morning was bright and cold in the still breezy gusts. I enjoyed the peace of an early Saturday morning with most of the world still in bed as I went over the tops of Oxenhope. I love the views from Height Road as blipped here. It's a classic Calderdale balcony road.

It was a shower and straight back out...secret mission on! I made my way to Cononley to the flat in the mill where Mum, and I, adore staying. I had managed to book it for one night as a Mother's Day gift but it meant I was required to do the cleaning, bed changing etc myself. I had no problem with that!

Cleaning done, I needed to head for supplies and then to meet Mum and Dad in Keighley. I'd asked Dad to pack a bag for Mum and to meet me at Morrisons carpet...no more said!

I drove to Cononley, with Mum, and just turned into the mill car park...and in we came. We've had a brew on the balcony watching the beautiful lambs and trains, spent some time doing a jigsaw and generally just having time together.

Nail painting tomorrow! :-P
