Chalkwell Beach parkrun

Maldon Prom parkrun cancelled due to the wear and tear on the field, so we decided to run Chalkwell Beach parkrun. Last time I ran thre it was too foggy to see the pier. This time it was a cold, clear day and we could see for miles. Some congestion at the start and near some building works, but as we had a good path and flat course, I was delighted to run a PB for the course. G was slower than usual, but finished it, so better than last outing. 

We were pleased to meet up with our parkrun pals,  E and her mum E. So we joined them for a post parkrun breakfast afterwards.We had a good time sharing parkrun news, views and looking forward to our Sicily trip. The Primrose were out in the pub garden, so they became my blip.

Home in time for the rugby, so a lovely time watching Scotland and England, both win their games. A happy household.
