Friday: York Minster

We’re on a short overnight trip to York to meet up with my cousin, G, and her partner.  They come quite frequently from Newcastle and always said they thought we would like it, given the excellent craft beer scene.

Our trains from London and Newcastle arrived at exactly the same time so we met up at the station, dropped our bags at the hotel and commenced on a very jolly tour of York.  

I find it odd that I’ve never been.  It really is lovely and definitely worth a return visit.
