The long trip home…..

I was sat on the M1 this afternoon when it had been shut after an accident around Nottingham.

Always thankful it wasn’t me involved (although it is frustrating on a Friday when you just want to get home) I was listening to an audiobook, and watching the planes come in to land.

This was one of the smaller planes as I didn’t manage to get a decent shot of the bigger ones which seemed far more impressive.

When we eventually got going there had been multiple cars and vans involved, a car on its side and glass right across all four lanes. It looked a right mess!

Home now, fed and ginned, so all good for me, & hoping for the best outcome for anyone caught up in the accident.
