A House Built On Rocks

The heavy thunderstorm we were warned for under code red never occurred. It rained all night from time to time. There were some heavy showers from 07:00 till 10:00. We decided not to leave but to wait for better conditions predicted for tomorrow. We used the extra day to make a trip to Peyresq over the Col de St. Michel. Peyresq is a village built in the mountains. The last inhabitant left in the 70s of the last century. Now there's a big restoration going on by Belgium students. Walkers can rent room in restored houses and make walks through the mountains surrounding Peyresq. The village is also the departure for tourists who want to make walks there and they have limited places to park the car outside the village which can be reached via a single track road from the Col St. Michel.
I pictured such a restored house built against the rocks and made it my blip for today.

We walked around, made pictures and saw mainly Belgium number plates on the parked cars there ... ;)

Weather report: after 10 o'clock in the morning the weather improved, the sun was regularly there and the temperature rose to 25°C in the afternoon. So we will start our trip back to the north tomorrow.
