A host of golden daffodills

The plan was to walk past the Abbey ( closed on Fridays) then on across the fields to the farm. But as we reached the turning it started to rain, a heavy rain shower so we turned left and went up the steps to Abbots wood. Fletch managed the steps despite some being very deep. But I'll up his Yumove dose just to help.

We decided to do the walk in reverse.. that meant more steps. We forgot that the far end has a lot of steps. Fletch did valiantly  but half way up he turned round and started to go back.* just as the heavens opened. Always the way to be rained on at the farthest point from the car.
But then the sun came out. 
Quite a long walk  but Fletch did well
