On the 'beach'

We planned a food shop at M&S so suggested a walk in the lower part of Sea Wood en route. I thought it would be less muddy than the main wood.
But we'd not walked far before I realised that it wasnt a good idea. In some places the path had become a stream and other parts more a mud bath. So for the sake of safety and the fact I didn't want Fletch completely 'clarted up'  we went back down to the beach.

Not that it's much of a beach now. The sea grass has grown rampant and the sea rarely reaches the edge of the wood . At the moment there is some view from the path as  the grass has partially died down but soon it will be towering above us. Last year it was about 8 ft high.

But, it was a very pleasant walk in the warm sunshine . It did feel like Spring and there was a bit of a view too
