Carnival

We’d heard there was a carnival so we walked over to see what was going on. It was wow! An overload of colour and sound. Lots of floats and walking tableau. A complete overload of the senses and I wanted to do a mosaic so waited till we got home to blip.

Interesting that the families watching the parade were all looking after their kids, all litter was put in their bags. Alcohol was being drunk but in acceptable amounts and everyone was having fun. Many were in fancy dress - we were dressed as tourists!

A truly wonderful experience.
