Criss-Cross
The day started misty but eventually the sun burned off the cloud and we had a beautiful sunny afternoon. This is the view through the still bare hedgerow towards the River Ems as it flows through the village. At this time of year the farmer moves his pregnant ewes into the field here so he can easily keep an eye on them.
I went to yoga this morning. It was good to see everyone and to practice after having no class last week. This afternoon I’ve been in the garden tidying up after the ravishes of winter. So today my body feels well worked out and I’m happy to sit down this evening.
We’ve been trying to get up early this week so as to help us adjust to the hour when it goes forward this weekend. Also as it is much lighter in the morning Merlin’s body clock and to some extent our own, is already in British Summer Time. This means I will aim to go to bed a little earlier than usual this evening.
