Tuning up

A rare visit to the city centre, to pick up a CD that I'd ordered for Richard's birthday next week.  I'd also heard that some Boots branches have started accepting blister packs for recycling. We have a year's worth stockpiled, which I hadn't managed to find any other outlet for. So it was great to take a first instalment... putting them into the ordinary black bin just doesn't feel right.
The sun was shining, and although the centre was hardly bustling, there was a sense of people emerging from the winter gloom. Students (boys) are out in shorts and flip flops - it must be spring :-)
And - thanks for all the lovely comments yesterday on Luca's smile. It is a true heart-melter...
