Penguin Benguin

I started the day with a bit of computer stuff and confirmed a few hotel bookings.  OH was in the garden repairing the fence which 'Ned Flanders' was complaining about.  Next door neighbour with nothing much to worry about but the fence slightly leaning in his garden causes him angst!  I wandered down to look at progress and had a quick look in the shed. I was delighted to find the box of knitted toys which my Mum made years ago and also found Penguin Benguin and send No.2 a picture - not sure why we called him that?!

No.2 arrived at 11.00 after dentist appointment and we had breakfast/brunch and a catch up.  He wanted some help with a bit of admin so back to the computer for an hour.  I am happy helping and he is grateful.  He was also grateful for the air fryer I bought him for his studio.

I left around 2.15 for monthly tea with the B girls.  Small group but sometimes that is best as more time for chat - they are great friends and we go back over 34 years!  M told us about ongoing problems with her tummy/back - we commiserated and agreed health was a lottery (don't I know - Aimee should never have been so unlucky - led a healthy life and did all the right things).

Sad news in the afternoon hearing about ex-colleagues accident - wrong place, wrong time and life can change in an instant.  OH saw the air ambulance fly over and I couldn't stop thinking about her.  Hope the medics can work their magic.

Dinner in the air fryer - parmesan chicken and salad and a loss at scrabble completed the day.
