My morning started with a thoughtless whatsapp from a friend which made me really sad.  Followed up by an email from a group I used to volunteer with.  I had contacted them in case I needed a reference for new volunteer opportunity and had emailed to tell her about Aimee.  I received a one line 'sorry for your loss' followed by two paragraphs asking me if I'd like to go back, they have a great opportunity I would be suitable for blah blah.  Two words came to mind.........F.O.

I rang my sister who always mops up my tears and says the right thing.  We chatted about Aimee and she understands and shares my grief.  I felt much better and then we moved on to shopping and vinted and wool felting!

After seeing her last week I have got her into Vinted and she sent me this funny picture.  It is the ultimate 're-cycling' experience as you know that all your old stuff and dodgy purchases that still have labels attached and never worn, can be turned into a bit of cash!!  She has listed bits and sold already so was quite chuffed!

Today was Tuesday so OH was off to golf (he got a lift so I could have the car) and I did some more Scotland research and found hotels already booked for June!!  I am still balking at paying ££ for hotels when we could have a week in the sun for the same price (or less?) but hey ho! 

I had an appointment for a facial booked and nearly missed it as I was engrossed on the computer.  It was wonderful and relaxing and I will definitely book again.  I didn't have time to go home after the facial as I was seeing J for tea and cake..........more chat and admiring her newly decorated sitting room.

Home for easy dinner (lamb casserole from the freezer) and chat with OH who had been looking at hotels too - just got to check availability and book.
