Edinburgh

I flew back from Heathrow very early this morning and enjoyed this view of Edinburgh as the plane came in to land. You can see the hill which is known as Arthur's Seat and the castle may be seen on large almost immediately behind Leith docks and in the middle of the shot. I drove home to collect Bruce and Cara and some bits and pieces before I set off in the car for the two hour drive further north to the Cairngorms where I will be on holiday for a week. My daughter and family are tackling the long drive up from the south of England and should be with me in the early evening.
