Cairngorms

The road north is one of my favourite routes as it takes you through some beautiful scenery and today, with the sun shining, it was spectacular. I couldn't get the keys to the cottage until 5pm so spent a wonderful afternoon walking with the dogs in the heathland below the magnificent Cairngorm hills. In this shot you can see the sun highlighting the Lairig Grhu which is a steep sided valley very popular for experienced walkers.
