Anstruther

This is another Fife fishing village- next to Pittenweem from yesterday's blip.
The locals pronounce it "Ainster"- don't ask me why!
It's very picturesque and like the rest of that area boasts many more hours of sunshine than the rest of Scotland! That, and the fact of the lovely beaches and proximity to Edinburgh makes it a very popular area for holiday homes.
