Tuesday: Discretion
K. needed to have another CT scan ahead of starting treatment so that it can act as a baseline for further scans. Because it needed to be done quite quilt she was referred to the Royal Marsden’s private clinic in Cavendish Square as they couldn’t accommodate her quite that quickly at the Chelsea (just to clarify, we are most definitely not private patients……). Please note the un-hospital like entrance.
It was all incredibly swanky! Not only was it all very discreet but they also had a top-notch coffee machine, free snacks and Molton Brown products in the bathroom.
After all that, they didn’t go ahead with the scan as it was deemed too soon after the last one. They’ve also postponed the other tests she was due to have today.
It wasn’t a wasted trip though as we bought a remastered LP of Joni Mitchell’s ‘Blue’.
