Red Sky at Night

I finished one bag of the 'chore' carding today which was a 650g bag of rosé grey alpaca. Still got 4 more to tackle but it will take a lot longer than a week to do that. If I can card enough alpaca for a sweater I'll be content for now.
Then, partly to clean the carder I dived into my lap waste goodie bag, threw in some firestar sparkly stuff and ended up with this 94g batt. Wish I'd known it was that close to 100 g and I would have tossed some more orange in!
Drum carding is a lot of fun. It seems you can't go wrong and it's the only thing I've found where I lose all inhibitions and just have at it!
