Unexpected

I wasn't really looking where I was going as I cycled to work. Not in a dangerous way, as I was cycling along a quiet road where there wasn't much traffic and as my eyes wandered I spotted this.

The light and shade attracted me and so I stopped and took this shot. And for some reason the word 'resilience' popped into my mind.

I guess that's what has helped me get through the last few years.
